The Economic Crime and Cybersecurity Institute of Utica College, formed in November 1988, is a “center of excellence” that provides and supports leading-edge thinking through educational programs, policy guidance and solutions, research, and publications. The Institute’s dynamic leadership and innovative ideas are drawn from the members of its Board of Advisors, forward thinking executives at the top of their fields. It is a unique combination of professionals and academics that provides thought leadership on economic crime and cybersecurity issues faced by business and government, prepares students to prevent, detect, investigate, and prosecute economic and cyber crimes; and provides continuing education opportunities for economic crime, fraud and cyber crime professionals.

Utica College's Center for Identity Management and Information Protection is a research collaborative dedicated conducting research that will result in cutting edge educational and training materials for academe, law enforcement, government agencies, and corporations.
